14 May Kristina ‘KP’ Powers joins the EHHS Dean’s Advisory Board at SUNY Brockport

IEHE is pleased to announce that our president, Kristina Powers, has been invited to serve on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of Education, Health, and Human Services (EHHS) at the State University of New York, College at Brockport (SUNY Brockport).

Kristina’s thought leadership across higher education and her service as President of IEHE has made her a valuable contributor to organizations that value institutional success. This, and the fact that she is a SUNY Brockport alum, make her a natural fit to serve on the new EHHS Advisory Board.

Kristina has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration, teaching, and data analysis. She specializes in institutional success, IPEDS, and using external data internally to help strengthen institutions. In her role as president of the IEHE, she provides leadership and project management to colleges and universities to build capacity in the areas of accreditation, institutional research, and data-driven decision-making support.

Kristina’s research focuses on institutional success in the areas of financial health and transfer-in student success. Kristina’s expertise will be a valuable addition to the EHHS Advisory Board.

About the EHHS Dean’s Advisory Board

The Dean’s Advisory Board serves as a high-level interface between the School of EHHS and the professional communities represented in the School. While institutions of higher education can benefit from similar formal relationships, the mission of the new School of EHHS calls for us to become an indispensable partner with these professional communities. Consequently, this Board will focus on identifying, prioritizing and realizing strategic level opportunities that meet the mutual needs of the professional community and the School.

The Board is comprised of a small number of highly influential thought leaders drawn from the professional communities and the School of EHHS alumni ranks who believe the School can and should be more integrated into the professional life of the community and who share our passion and commitment to realizing our mission.
